Job Description
Senior Systems Administrator at CACI leading system administration for Navy's critical maintenance program. Driving optimization, security, and compliance for information management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems
- Direct the work of other system administrators to provide day-to-day system administration
- Lead system and resource optimization efforts
- Conduct capacity and performance analysis
- Provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
- Increase system administrator efficiency through automated tools and scripts
- Develop system administration procedures
- Conduct system administrator training and skills assessment
- Oversee enterprise-wide system operations
- Lead implementation of security controls and compliance measures
- Manage complex system integrations
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior administrators
Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- At least 7 years of experience in system administration within DoD/Navy programs
- Extensive knowledge of system administration principles and practices
- Experience leading technical teams
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT operations
- Proven track record of system optimization and automation
- Experience with performance analysis and capacity planning
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (desired)
- Advanced technical certifications (desired)
- Experience with cloud technologies (desired)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices (desired)
- Security certifications (desired)
- SAFe certification (desired)
- Scripting and automation expertise (desired)
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (desired)
