Job Description
Boeing SEIT leader driving Sapphire defense enterprise systems integration, testing, and governance. Leading engineering standards, CONOPS, toolchains, and cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the SEIT team in day-to-day execution of SEIT deliverables and act as the SEIT Senior Manager’s deputy when absent
- Own and operate the SEIT Center of Excellence, including standards, templates, governance artifacts, playbooks, and reusable artifact libraries
- Establish and mature a SEIT Foundation of Practice with program health metrics, KPIs, repeatable processes, and data-driven governance
- Own and socialize the Sapphire SEIT Concept of Operations across Design, Build, Test, Deploy, and Sustain lifecycle phases
- Define and lead the Sapphire archetype roadmap, delivery plans, dependencies, capability increments, backlog, and release priorities
- Institutionalize MBSE workflows, requirements management, traceability, integration test automation, and digital thread artifacts
- Champion integrated tool use including Teamcenter/PLM, DOORS/Polarion, ADO/Jira, BORIS, Planner, and Power BI
- Lead cross-functional integration planning and execution with Dev IPTs, I&I, PIO, Deployment, and Business Change Management
- Establish alignment cadences for schedules, risks, CCBs, and test calendars
- Develop and present SEIT KPIs and health metrics to program leadership monthly
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, retrospectives, Communities of Practice, training, and teaching sessions
- Prepare and present milestone readiness evidence and technical status updates to senior leadership, review boards, and governance committees
- Travel up to 20% as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 12+ years of progressive systems engineering, integration, and test leadership experience in aerospace, defense, or complex enterprise programs
- 5+ years of experience with system requirements definition, architecture design, integration strategies, automated testing, defect and configuration management
- 5+ years of experience leading diverse engineering teams and mid-level managers across multiple technical domains in large-scale system development
- 5+ years of experience with PLM, MES, ERP integrations, middleware technologies, ICDs, and enterprise digital thread
- 5+ years of experience with ALM/SEIT tools supporting requirements management, architecture modeling, test automation, and end-to-end traceability
- 5+ years of analytical, strategic risk management, and quantitative assessment capabilities
- 5+ years of influencing, negotiation, and communication skills engaging senior leaders and stakeholders
- 5+ years collaborating with IT security, applying compliance controls, and ensuring secure system verification
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required by the U.S. Government
- Final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start required
- U.S. Person status required for export-control compliance

- Master’s or higher degree in a relevant field preferred
- Experience with aerospace or defense integrated systems programs preferred
- Experience navigating DoD certification and regulatory compliance processes preferred
- Agile development frameworks and project management tools preferred
- Ability to lead agile transformation preferred
