Job Description
Senior UX/UI Designer at Provide, focusing on user-centric design for web and mobile experiences for small businesses. Collaborating across teams to enhance design consistency and accessibility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of user-centric, responsive web and mobile experiences across multiple platforms and customer segments
- Translate complex workflows into simple, elegant interfaces that meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and support diverse user needs
- Own the creation of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that bring ideas to life and guide development
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and uncover opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions on sprint timelines
- Serve as the design authority on cross-functional teams, advocating for design quality and consistency
- Contribute to and maintain the organization’s design system, ensuring alignment between design assets and implemented components
- Partner with revenue and brand teams to ensure visual consistency across marketing and product touchpoints
- Stay current on UX/UI trends and bring fresh ideas from adjacent industries and disciplines
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to team growth through feedback, coaching, and peer leadership
- Support strategic decision-making with data-informed design insights and a systems-thinking approach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Six (6) or more years of UX/UI design experience
- Proven ability to lead the full design lifecycle — from research and ideation to handoff and delivery
- Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and mobile design, with a clean, modern aesthetic and thoughtful problem-solving
- Deep familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch), repository systems, and backlog/story management platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems and partnering with engineering teams to ensure design/code alignment
- Passion for user-centered design and accessibility, with a strong understanding of WCAG standards
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
