Job Description
Senior Zscaler Engineer managing enterprise ZIA, ZPA, Workloads, and ZDX environments for a confidential enterprise client. Owning security policies, disaster recovery, and senior technical stakeholder support.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and administer enterprise Zscaler environments across ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.
- Build, maintain, and continuously optimise security, access, and traffic policies.
- Manage disaster recovery for ZIA and ZPA, including identifying failure points before they become problems.
- Serve as the senior technical point of contact, translating complex issues into clear answers for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on Zscaler engineering experience, recent, active, and deep, not adjacent.
- Strong, demonstrable work across ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.
- Proven ZIA/ZPA disaster recovery experience and a current Zscaler certification.
- Confidence troubleshooting complex enterprise networking and security issues independently.
- The communication skills to be the calm, credible voice in the room, with clients, not just colleagues.
- Flexibility to cover Eastern and Central US time zones.
- Nice to have: Zscaler Digital Transformation Engineer certification, experience with Zscaler Branch Connectors, and time spent inside large enterprise Zscaler deployments.
