Job Description
ServiceNow Developer transforming technology into opportunity at GDIT. Customizing and building ServiceNow applications, ensuring seamless integration and user support.
Responsibilities:
- Build and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Connect the ServiceNow platform with other systems and applications using technologies like REST/SOAP
- Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes, to automate processes and meet business requirements
- Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management, system maintenance, and health checks
- Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality
- Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance
- Experience with ServiceNow's data management tools such as Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB
- Experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow Platform applications and modules, especially ITSM
- Proficiency with integration methods like SOAP, REST, and web services
- Strong scripting skills with at least one language – preferably JavaScript
- BS Degree
- Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle
- Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment
