Job Description

SharePoint Administrator/Developer supporting Peraton’s national security and enterprise IT missions. Building SharePoint, Power Platform, Java automation, database, and API testing solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a SharePoint Administrator/Developer supporting site collections and developing business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing solutions and scripts using IBM Rational Functional Tester, Eclipse, and Java
  • Develop Java-based utilities and standalone applications to automate test data preparation, document parsing, and repeatable testing activities
  • Develop solutions that interact with relational databases using Java SQL APIs, including querying, selecting, inserting, and validating data within PostgreSQL or comparable environments
  • Develop Java-based solutions integrating with ReadyAPI, including command-line execution, REST/POST requests, and API response parsing and validation
  • Apply object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns, including the Factory Pattern
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, data preparation, and repeatability through automation
  • Operate and support customer tools and applications for software transmittal and deployment processes
  • Provide Java development support, including design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Java-based applications and solutions
  • Support onboarding projects to the designated automated transmittal process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree and 8 years of professional experience, or an Associate’s degree and 12 years of professional experience, or a High School diploma/equivalent and 14 years of professional experience
  • Experience administering, configuring, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft SharePoint environments, including SharePoint sites, site collections, permissions, access controls, and user support
  • Hands-on experience developing and supporting business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions, workflows, forms, and process automations
  • Experience troubleshooting SharePoint functionality, permissions, workflows, integrations, and site-related issues
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into SharePoint and Power Platform solutions
  • Experience with Java development and automated testing solutions, including reusable utilities, scripts, and applications
  • Experience working with REST APIs, relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and CI/CD or automated deployment processes
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub/GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, JIRA/Xray, or comparable tools
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder with 3 or more years of U.S. residency)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an MBI clearance
  • Current active IRS MBI Clearance strongly preferred
  • Experience working with the federal government
  • Knowledge of current IRS tax administration software applications
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
