Job Description
SharePoint Administrator managing SharePoint and OneDrive governance, security, configuration, and support. Maintaining Microsoft 365 platform operations remotely from Europe for an EU-only contractor role.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming tickets
- Create documentation on the existing infrastructure
- Support the Platform Manager in creating governance policies
- Monitor and manage changes to new features released by Microsoft
- Collaborate with administrators of other Microsoft 365 services to ensure smooth platform operations
- Ensure SharePoint and OneDrive are configured securely, consistently, and aligned with organizational policies
- Configure tenant-level settings in the admin centre
- Define information architecture, site templates, and naming conventions
- Monitor storage, usage, and quotas
- Manage access and permissions
- Apply and monitor data loss prevention and sensitivity labels
- Maintain a healthy, performant, and well-supported SharePoint/OneDrive environment
- Perform site and content management, sync and client management, monitoring and reporting, and user enablement and support
Requirements:
- Intermediate level
- Remote from Europe only
- EU citizenship required
- Ability to handle incoming tickets
- Ability to create documentation on existing infrastructure
- SharePoint and OneDrive administration knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft 365 service administration
- Knowledge of secure tenant-level configuration and admin centre settings
- Knowledge of information architecture, site templates, and naming conventions
- Ability to monitor storage, usage, and quotas
- Experience managing access and permissions
- Knowledge of data loss prevention and sensitivity labels
- Experience with site and content management, sync and client management, monitoring and reporting, and user enablement and support
- Current working status as employed with a permanent employment contract, employed as a freelancer, or unemployed/free
