Job Description
Senior technical support specialist supporting GIS applications, databases, and enterprise systems for Mano Lani LLC. Troubleshooting complex issues and coordinating technology implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for GIS applications, databases, and related systems
- Troubleshoot software, configuration, access, data, and user issues
- Provide technical guidance to users and project team members
- Coordinate technical activities and help ensure project requirements are completed on schedule
- Assist with software upgrades, system changes, and application implementations
- Develop user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and technical documentation
- Work with system administrators, developers, analysts, and client stakeholders to resolve issues
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other support personnel as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, GIS, Information Systems, or a related field
- Significant experience providing technical or application support
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting GIS or other enterprise applications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to meet applicable client access requirements
- Advanced experience with Esri ArcGIS applications (preferred)
- Experience supporting GIS databases or enterprise GIS environments (preferred)
- Previous experience serving as a technical lead or subject matter expert (preferred)
- Experience developing technical documentation and user procedures (preferred)
- Experience working with government or large enterprise customers (preferred)
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to type and read from a computer screen
- Sufficient mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling
- Ability to walk moderate to long distances when required
- Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
