Job Description
Social Media Manager growing Huckleberry’s family-focused parenting app through TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit. Creating content, managing communities, and reporting social performance.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with brand and creative teammates on social calendar development, content planning, and publishing across TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit
- Lead the creative process for content through briefing others or hands-on execution
- Own brand voice in comments, DMs, and community spaces
- Coordinate with product and customer support for consistent and accurate responses
- Maintain regular reporting connecting social performance to broader brand and business outcomes
- Apply knowledge of trends, culture, and platform nuances across TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit
- Work in Asana, Canva, and Hootsuite
Requirements:
- 3+ years hands-on social media management experience at a consumer brand
- At least one year owning the day-to-day of a brand's social presence, including calendar, publishing, and community management
- Experience managing content and community across Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit
- Recent portfolio examples from the past 12 months on Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit
- Ability to write captions and short-form copy in a defined brand voice
- Portfolio must include caption examples, not just visual assets
- Experience running brand community management, including comments, DMs, sensitive-issue escalation, and cross-functional coordination
- Working knowledge of Canva or a comparable design tool
- Working knowledge of Hootsuite or a comparable scheduling tool
- Working knowledge of Asana or a comparable project management tool
- Ability to build and maintain a weekly or biweekly reporting cadence using native analytics
- Available to start within two weeks
- Able to commit to a 3-month contract at 20 hours/week
