Job Description
C#/.NET Developer modernizing PBS’s Microsoft Access/VBA applications and building enterprise software. Developing maintainable solutions with PostgreSQL in a fully remote IT team.
Responsibilities:
- Modernize a business-critical Microsoft Access/VBA application using C#/.NET and PostgreSQL
- Design and develop new enterprise applications
- Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment
- Collaborate with the Software Development Manager and development team
- Work independently and collaboratively in a 100% remote environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of C#/.NET development experience
- At least 1 year of C# skills or Microsoft .NET experience
- At least 5 years of software development experience
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Ability to understand and refactor Visual Basic/VBA code
- Associate degree in software development or equivalent years of experience (preferred)
- Microsoft Certification in .NET C# (preferred)
- At least 1 year of PostgreSQL experience (preferred)
- At least 1 year of VBA—Microsoft Access/Excel or Visual Basic 6 experience (preferred)
- 10+ years in software development (preferred)
- Experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, Blazor, or medical industry applications (preferred)
