Job Description
Software development engineer contributing to Dexcom’s continuous glucose monitoring and diabetes management technology. Coding, testing, deploying, and improving Dexcom Clarity software.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in end-to-end development, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployments
- Collaborate with testers, designers, and the product owner
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs and participate in decision-making
- Participate in daily stand-ups and biweekly retrospectives
- Explore and grow through weekly Learning Labs
- Participate in biweekly hackathons
- Develop software that improves the lives of people with diabetes
- Empower doctors and patients through work on Dexcom Clarity
Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- Minimum of 0-2 years related experience
- Desire to learn Typescript, Node.js, Ruby, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes
- Ability to work in a collaborative, highly communicative team environment
- Interest in iterative product improvements
- Eagerness to learn and stay current with technology
- Comfort asking for help to solve difficult problems
- Belief that good testing is critical to good software
- Comfortable supporting and coaching others
- Willingness to travel 0-5%
