Job Description
Software Engineer building distributed Go infrastructure serving ads for Liftoff’s AI-powered mobile marketing platform. Shipping high-impact code across large-scale systems.
Responsibilities:
- Ship code multiple times a day and measure its quantified impact on millions of users and company revenue
- Build and maintain mission-critical infrastructure for serving ads across Liftoff’s product line
- Contribute to an engineering excellence culture using state-of-the-art tools, risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code review
- Develop expertise in Go and other open-source technologies
- Collaborate with a nimble and experienced engineering team
- Work on large-scale data stores and distributed systems
Requirements:
- Very strong coding ability
- Solid core computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture
- Excited to work on large-scale data stores and distributed systems
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building large distributed systems or backend architectures
- Must be located in one of the approved U.S. states: California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington
- Ability to attend in-person team gatherings at least once per quarter
