Job Description
Fullstack engineer building real-time command-and-control software for Swarm Aero’s autonomous drone swarms. Designing telemetry interfaces and distributed systems for large-scale aircraft operations.
Responsibilities:
- Help architect the frontend for Legion's Command & Control system directing swarms of heterogeneous aircraft
- Build distributed, collaborative real-time infrastructure for controlling large numbers of aircraft simultaneously, even when communications drop
- Design and ship UI concepts for vehicle telemetry, sensor data, scheduling, crew resources, data link management, and related functions
- Own full stack features end to end, from design through deployment
- Ship early and often with strong CI/CD, QA, and DevSecOps
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 6+ years building complex full stack applications with real frontend and backend depth
- Strong UI/UX instincts and the tools to back them up
- Built production web interfaces with React or a comparable modern framework
- Experience with both immediate mode (games, simulation) and retained mode UI paradigms
- A track record with performance-sensitive application development
- Familiarity with video streaming protocols
- WebGL/OpenGL experience
- Experience with geospatial applications
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
- Must meet citizenship requirements to obtain a U.S. security clearance
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
