Job Description
Software Engineer developing secure, reliable applications for IPT Global’s well integrity and energy technology platforms. Supporting the full development lifecycle, testing, code reviews, and AI-enabled development.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex code analysis
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software products
- Participate in the full software development life cycle
- Consult with senior peers on projects
- Develop applications and refine product requirements
- Work with team leads, internal resources, and clients to assess technical and operational needs
- Analyze requirements and assist with design and development based on selected architectures
- Design reliable, secure, simple, efficient, and maintainable solutions
- Estimate design scope and participate in design review sessions
- Perform programming tasks to deliver design objectives
- Conduct unit- and system-level tests
- Assist with product test planning, documentation, and problem resolution
- Perform code reviews on pull requests
- Participate in self-directed projects and research for Team Sprint
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science or a related science or technical field
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming techniques and languages such as C#, C++, or Java
- Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and C# or similar languages such as Java or C++
- Experience with database systems such as SQL and/or ORM tools
- Experience with web programming involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and single-page applications such as React or Angular
- Experience with WPF or other client application development
- Experience with unit testing and/or functional testing for C# and/or React
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor
- Experience integrating AI tools into the software development lifecycle
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud providers and services such as AWS or Google
- Experience with containers, container orchestration, or microservices such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Understanding of design patterns and concepts such as MVVM and inversion of control
- Understanding of how to utilize LLMs in application features
- Technical writing and design documentation
