Job Description

Software Engineer developing secure, reliable applications for IPT Global’s well integrity and energy technology platforms. Supporting the full development lifecycle, testing, code reviews, and AI-enabled development.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex code analysis
  • Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software products
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle
  • Consult with senior peers on projects
  • Develop applications and refine product requirements
  • Work with team leads, internal resources, and clients to assess technical and operational needs
  • Analyze requirements and assist with design and development based on selected architectures
  • Design reliable, secure, simple, efficient, and maintainable solutions
  • Estimate design scope and participate in design review sessions
  • Perform programming tasks to deliver design objectives
  • Conduct unit- and system-level tests
  • Assist with product test planning, documentation, and problem resolution
  • Perform code reviews on pull requests
  • Participate in self-directed projects and research for Team Sprint
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science or a related science or technical field
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming techniques and languages such as C#, C++, or Java
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and C# or similar languages such as Java or C++
  • Experience with database systems such as SQL and/or ORM tools
  • Experience with web programming involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and single-page applications such as React or Angular
  • Experience with WPF or other client application development
  • Experience with unit testing and/or functional testing for C# and/or React
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor
  • Experience integrating AI tools into the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud providers and services such as AWS or Google
  • Experience with containers, container orchestration, or microservices such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Understanding of design patterns and concepts such as MVVM and inversion of control
  • Understanding of how to utilize LLMs in application features
  • Technical writing and design documentation
