Job Description
Software Engineer II building Pantheon’s real-time collaborative content platform. Developing full-stack features, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities for global WebOps users.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with shared ownership of quality
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions
- Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into working software
- Integrate AI tooling into the development workflow and product
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain a high engineering bar
- Build core capabilities for a real-time collaborative content platform
- Help define the product and what gets built in an early-stage environment
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Solid full-stack capability, with production experience on both backend and frontend
- Experience with modern API design: REST, GraphQL, or webhooks
- Comfortable working in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong fundamentals, including testing, understanding tradeoffs, and maintainability
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Actively building with AI, using it in development workflows or integrating it into products
