Job Description

Software Engineer II building Pantheon’s real-time collaborative content platform. Developing full-stack features, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities for global WebOps users.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and ship full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with shared ownership of quality
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions
  • Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into working software
  • Integrate AI tooling into the development workflow and product
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain a high engineering bar
  • Build core capabilities for a real-time collaborative content platform
  • Help define the product and what gets built in an early-stage environment

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Solid full-stack capability, with production experience on both backend and frontend
  • Experience with modern API design: REST, GraphQL, or webhooks
  • Comfortable working in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Strong fundamentals, including testing, understanding tradeoffs, and maintainability
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Actively building with AI, using it in development workflows or integrating it into products
