Job Description

Systems Engineer contributing to T3S OmniToll product line solution development and integration. Part of a small multi-discipline team supporting live 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Join a small multi-discipline team of engineers supporting the Transportation Technology and Tolling Solutions (T3S) OmniToll product line in solution development, integration, and test efforts
  • Serve as an individual contributor and as a deputy technical lead
  • Support live 24/7 operations.
  • Solution development

  • Coordinating task execution of technical team

Requirements:

  • Early career engineer (<5 years)
  • Very strong communication skills & ability to explain concepts to all company levels
  • Experience coordinating task execution by a diverse team and stakeholders
  • Comfortable presenting technical content to senior management and customer leadership
  • Extremely strong problem-solving logic & analysis skills
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Self-motivated & able to develop and execute tasks independently or with integrated teams
  • Able to grasp the “big picture”
  • Python/scripting (Code adaptation & editing, advanced scripting)
  • Familiarity with Windows-based security & administration (Group Policy/STIG Configs, Active Directory, Certificate Services)
  • Familiarity with System security design, development, configuration, & integration (Architecture, IAM, Zero Trust, IDS/IPS, CM)
  • Automation integration
  • Virtualized systems & environments
  • Familiarity with using Linux/Unix workstation and familiar with Linux commands
  • Experienced in using integrated software development tools, such as Jenkins, GIT, VisualStudio
  • Experience with HTML and JSON schemas
  • Knowledge of communication technology such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and basics of networks
  • Experienced in using software development tools, such as gradle/Eclipse/artifactory
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum environment and is familiar with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with configuration management including tooling (SW, configuration, Use cases, Documentation)
  • Experience with AI/ML tools and their use in analysis, modeling, application development, application integration, and test
