Job Description
Software Engineer building scalable .NET commerce and payment platforms for LastPass’s secure-access products. Developing APIs, payment integrations, and reliable subscription and billing services.
Responsibilities:
- Build and evolve backend commerce and payment platforms supporting LastPass subscriptions, billing, and global payment processing
- Modernize critical systems and strengthen platform reliability
- Deliver integrations with payment providers
- Develop scalable .NET services and REST APIs
- Deliver payment gateway integrations and regional payment methods
- Contribute to planning and delivery of features
- Advocate for non-functional requirements and cost-effective solutions
- Develop, test, and maintain solutions within the domain
- Collaborate with other teams, engage in decision-making, and influence technical direction
- Shape customer-facing applications with new features to meet user needs
- Work with .NET engineers, SDETs, QA engineers, database developers, engineering leaders, Product, Finance, Data, and Operations
Requirements:
- Proficient in C# and .NET Core for web app development
- Skilled in REST API creation and consumption
- Experienced with relational databases and EF Core
- Familiar with OOP best practices, Docker, and web security
- Good communication skills
- Collaborative team player excelling in problem-solving
