Job Description
Software Engineer managing technical activities for USCG cloud applications. Involving API development, user interface customization, and system defect management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute technical activities for application design and development
- Develop and maintain Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for USCG information systems
- Customize CG-OWL User Interfaces for USCG
- Gather user feedback and prioritize features for product roadmap
- Conduct Operational and User Acceptance Testing
- Report monthly performance metrics to USCG
- Address defects in MLMS system or notify third parties
- Update Sys/App Admin process guides
- Assist training course owners with course material uploads
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least five years' relevant experience
- Possess IAT Level II certification
- Knowledge of AWS, Linux, Python, PHP, and MongoDB
