Job Description
Software Engineer expanding Supporting Cast’s podcast subscription platform with PHP and Laravel. Building creator-facing features, integrations, and AI-assisted development tools for podcast publishers.
Responsibilities:
- Expand Supporting Cast’s podcast subscription platform
- Help independent creators, podcast publishers, and media companies improve financial sustainability and satisfy their fans
- Scale the application as clients with tens of thousands of members are onboarded
- Evaluate new technologies
- Develop and maintain user-facing and administrator-facing features
- Leverage A.I. tools to accelerate feature development and improve code quality and security
- Build and maintain implementations for other websites, including embeds and third-party integrations
- Influence the technology stack and evolving product as part of a small development team
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of professional experience with PHP and a PHP framework such as Laravel
- 1–2 years of experience with LLM-based A.I.
- Familiarity with programming fundamentals and industry best practices
- Willingness to adapt and learn on the job
- A CS degree is a plus but not required
- Ability to work largely East Coast hours
- Candidates must be based in the United States
