Job Description

Software Systems Engineer supporting systems software analysis, development, testing, and integration. Electrosoft delivers cybersecurity and technology solutions to federal customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized expertise within multiple systems and software disciplines, along with general knowledge of related disciplines and application implications
  • Perform in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products
  • Resolve complex problems
  • Design, develop, test, integrate operationally, and support users
  • Assist in planning and conversion for new hardware/software products
  • Maintain currency, debug, and configure related software products
  • Plan and evaluate operating systems for performance analysis, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades
  • Develop or modify operating systems applications from specifications
  • Assist with program design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Interface with system support groups to resolve problems, set standards, and improve operating system efficiency
  • Prepare product documentation
  • Interface with customers to gather system requirements and information about problems

Requirements:

  • Eight (8) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology)
  • Experience with Ab Initio development
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
  • At time of proposal, the contractor must possess a Moderate Risk, Confidential, Non-Critical Sensitive with a Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation
  • DoW Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I
