Job Description
Staff Frontend Engineer at Douro Labs, developing the frontend of the Superluminal exchange. High degree of ownership and autonomy in trading experience design and development.
Responsibilities:
- This role owns the frontend of Superluminal, a new perpetuals exchange built at Douro Labs
- This is not a role built around a fixed spec
- It carries real ownership over how perps trading feels and works for the people
- Superluminal is built to be fast and to give traders better pricing than most exchanges currently offer
Requirements:
- Senior or staff-level frontend experience, comfortable working with minimal oversight
- Strong, hands-on skills in TypeScript and React
- Genuine familiarity with perps trading, ideally as a personal trader or close follower of the space
- Comfort using AI tools like Claude to move quickly, balanced with the ability to solve hard problems independently
- Based in the US, or able to maintain strong overlap with a US-hours team
