Job Description

Staff Product Manager owning fleet software strategy for ChargePoint’s EV charging network. Building platforms for truck fleets and autonomous vehicle operators across North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for ChargePoint's fleet software platforms, including ViriCiti and new platforms for truck fleets and autonomous vehicle operators
  • Identify customer-experience gaps, prioritize improvements, and evolve existing platforms for current and future fleet operators
  • Define and build new software products for commercial truck charging management and autonomous vehicle fleet operations
  • Translate customer needs, market trends, and business priorities into product requirements, user stories, and success metrics
  • Work with engineering and design to ship high-quality software
  • Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, and data science on market opportunities, go-to-market execution, and adoption
  • Engage directly with fleet customers and prospects to understand workflows, pain points, and software needs
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and trade-offs to stakeholders from engineering teams to executive leadership
  • Report to the Senior Director, Data and Product Management

Requirements:

  • 12 years of product management experience, with a strong focus on software products — ideally in fleet management, telematics, mobility, energy management, or adjacent SaaS platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and evolve existing software platforms while simultaneously defining new products from the ground up
  • Experience working with fleet operators, commercial vehicle customers, or logistics companies preferred
  • Strong technical fluency, including software architecture, APIs, and data pipelines
  • Experience translating qualitative customer insight and quantitative data into prioritized product decisions
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor in a matrixed organization
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical and commercial concepts into clear, structured narratives
  • Based in North America
