Job Description
Psychiatrist delivering evidence-based outpatient mental healthcare via telehealth for Legion Health. Providing autonomous assessments, medication management, and brief psychotherapy remotely across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric care through telehealth for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments covering mental-health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk analysis
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans combining medication management and brief psychotherapy as appropriate
- Provide compassionate, respectful, patient-centered care
- Use evidence-based clinical protocols and responsible prescribing practices
- Collaborate with psychiatrists through consultations and case reviews
- Use technology and operational systems effectively to deliver reliable telehealth care
Requirements:
- MD or DO psychiatrist
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Active DEA individual practitioner registration
- Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems
