Job Description
Legion Health psychiatrist providing evidence-based telehealth care for depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and other conditions. Delivering autonomous treatment with strong administrative and clinical support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric care through telehealth for conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental-health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk analysis
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans combining medication management and brief psychotherapy where appropriate
- Provide compassionate, respectful, patient-centered care
- Use evidence-based clinical protocols and responsible prescribing practices
- Collaborate with other psychiatrists through consultations and case reviews
- Use technology and operational systems effectively to deliver reliable telehealth care
Requirements:
- Must be a Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care
- Active DEA individual practitioner registration is required in the application form
- Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry is required in the application form
