Job Description

Staffing Partner coordinating internal staffing, hiring pipelines, and resource data. Supporting Nava’s government-services consultancy in placing the right people on the right projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor staffing demand and internal resource supply, including upcoming roll-offs, staffing cliffs, Bench, Leave returns, and new staffing requests
  • Identify clear-fit internal staffing opportunities based on skills, experience, availability, and project needs
  • Coordinate internal transitions, onboarding, backfills, and project changes with employees and Program Managers
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition when internal resources are unavailable and coordinate external hiring pipelines
  • Maintain accurate staffing information across Jira, Workday, and staffing dashboards
  • Communicate proactively with Client Delivery, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Contracts, leadership, and other stakeholders
  • Identify staffing risks early and escalate exceptions or decisions requiring leadership input
  • Ensure staffing needs and available resources are proactively monitored and addressed
  • Ensure internal resources are considered before unnecessary external hiring
  • Provide clear stakeholder visibility into staffing changes, risks, and next steps
  • Build strong relationships with business partners, especially Client Delivery teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Program, Project Management, and Growth

Requirements:

  • Experience in staffing, resource management, workforce planning, recruiting, project/program operations, or a similar role, preferably at a boutique consulting firm
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong judgment and ability to make informed decisions independently
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort working with data, dashboards, and operational systems such as Jira, Workday, and Greenhouse
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proactive problem-solving and ownership of tasks
  • Ability to navigate rapidly changing processes and take a hands-on approach to process improvement
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to meet requirements for applicable government contracts
  • May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract
  • RMCP certification is nice-to-have
