Job Description

SVP leading Americas sales for New Relic’s intelligent observability platform. Driving SaaS revenue, enterprise adoption, strategic partnerships, and high-performing regional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all facets of the sales organization across the US, Canada, and Latin America
  • Craft and implement a North America sales strategy aligned with New Relic’s brand and revenue objectives
  • Establish and maintain executive relationships with strategic accounts, including CIOs, CTOs, and other CXOs
  • Drive new opportunities, customer growth, and increased consumption among existing customers
  • Develop and lead cross-functional strategies to optimize revenue, consumption, and adoption
  • Drive forecast accuracy
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team
  • Coach VP leaders and frontline managers
  • Improve scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness across the sales team
  • Implement consistent MEDDPPIC and CoM methodologies
  • Report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer
  • Build strategic partnerships with top-tier customers and cultivate a culture of excellence and empowerment

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience as a sales leader building, coaching, and leading diverse, high-performing sales teams
  • Extensive experience within enterprise software, B2B SaaS, cloud, or observability
  • Experience leading multi-country teams within the Americas
  • Proven track record of sequencing expansion across distinct regions
  • Understanding of localized compliance, buying cultures, and language dependencies
  • Proven ability to scale complex sales organizations and drive organizational transformation
  • Ability to meet or exceed high-growth revenue targets
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing sales forecasting mechanisms
  • High integrity, accountability, and results-driven focus
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
