Job Description

Systems and Network Administrator managing client networks, Windows/Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Azure, and security. Supporting an IT services provider’s managed infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain client network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
  • Administer Windows and Linux servers, including installations, updates, patching, and performance tuning
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure across licensing, Identity, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Purview
  • Use RMM tools to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Maintain client security and compliance posture
  • Plan and test backup and disaster recovery processes
  • Solve client problems and recommend improved technical solutions
  • Maintain documentation and provide clear reporting
  • Coordinate with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in systems and network administration
  • Strong depth in Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, and DNS
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Hands-on Microsoft 365 / Azure administration experience
  • Sharp troubleshooting, analysis, and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication skills and client-facing customer-service mindset
  • MSP or multi-client support experience is a plus
  • Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or CompTIA Network+ are a bonus, not a requirement
