Job Description
Systems Engineer supporting Fortinet’s cybersecurity sales organization across southern Brazil. Providing pre-sales, technical sales-call, post-sales support, and customer training.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a sales representative in a defined territory
- Support the sales organization on technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales
- Qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint
- Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls
- Answer and educate customers about features, specifications, functionality, and integration
- Act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts regarding technical issues
- Work closely with technical support and engineering to answer, escalate, and resolve customer technical issues
- Provide post-sales training to identified customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Field sales experience
- Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
- Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
- Experience deploying, supporting, and conducting site surveys for wireless technologies
- Solid understanding of wireless authentication technologies
- Exceptional understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP
- Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and antivirus technologies
- Solid understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewall, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies
- Certifications: CCIE, CISSP
