Job Description
Systems Engineer supporting Fortinet, a cybersecurity company, across pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales. Providing networking expertise and resolving customer technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a sales representative in a defined territory
- Support the sales organization in technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales
- Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint
- Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls
- Answer and educate customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integration
- Provide expertise on networking applications and solutions
- Act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts regarding technical issues
- Work with technical support and engineering to answer, escalate, and resolve customer technical issues
- Provide post-sales training to identified customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Field sales experience
- Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
- Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
- Experience with Wireless technologies, deploying, supporting and doing site surveys
- Solid understanding of Wireless Authentication technologies
- Exceptional understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP
- Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus
- Solid understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies
- Certifications: CCIE, CISSP
