Job Description
Systems Engineer supporting NETGEAR’s enterprise networking customers. Designing WiFi, cloud, switching, and Zero Trust solutions across the sales and deployment lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with account teams on pre-sales technical consultation, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts
- Lead architecture and deployment of enterprise-grade WiFi, switches, routers, security, and cloud solutions
- Present technical content to IT stakeholders, channel partners, and internal teams
- Bridge customers and NETGEAR Support during post-sales transitions, escalations, and customer experience management
- Gather, analyze, and communicate customer feedback and feature requests to Product Management
- Design and support secure networking environments using Zero Trust architecture, user/device segmentation, role-based access, and secure onboarding
- Promote and support cloud platform adoption for multi-site management, zero-touch provisioning, alerts, firmware lifecycle management, and network analytics
- Conduct RF planning and network design using Ekahau or similar tools
- Enable NETGEAR’s channel ecosystem through technical training, solution guidance, and joint customer engagements
- Maintain knowledge of competitive products, market trends, and the enterprise IT landscape
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or a similar technical customer-facing role
- Expertise in Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 wireless networking technologies
- Expertise in Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, routing, QoS, and enterprise security practices
- Expertise in cloud-managed networking, including NETGEAR Insight or competitive solutions
- Knowledge of Zero Trust security concepts, including identity-based access and micro-segmentation
- Strong troubleshooting and solution development skills across wireless and wired networks
- Experience using RF design tools such as Ekahau or Hamina
- Experience supporting or working with channel partners, MSPs, and mid-market enterprise customers
- Industry certifications such as CWNA, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and project coordination skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25–50%, depending on territory needs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of application
- May be asked about current relevant industry certifications such as CWNA, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
