Job Description

Tax Manager supporting corporate tax compliance, provision, and planning for Kaseya, an AI-powered IT management and cybersecurity software provider. Managing ASC 740 reporting, tax filings, reconciliations, and R&D tax credit coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Support a broad range of corporate tax functions, including tax provision, compliance, and planning
  • Manage and/or assist in preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740 and related financial reporting
  • Prepare and review reconciliations of tax-related general ledger accounts
  • Oversee and coordinate U.S. federal, state, and international tax returns and non-income and informational filings with external service providers
  • Support preparation and review of tax return workpapers aligned with financial reporting
  • Review state income tax apportionment calculations, state filings, and select pro forma federal returns prepared by external advisors
  • Calculate and prepare quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments
  • Maintain and manage the global tax compliance calendar with third-party providers
  • Partner with external advisors on the annual R&D tax credit study, including data collection, analysis, and coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Partner with finance, legal, and external advisors to drive efficient tax operations and informed decision-making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline
  • 5–8 years of relevant tax experience (public accounting experience preferred or a mix of public and private)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate tax principles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to research tax laws and apply sound judgment to reach well-reasoned conclusions
  • CPA certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with ASC 740 tax provision processes and reporting
  • General understanding of international tax concepts
  • Demonstrated project and program management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
