Job Description
Epic Radiant Team Lead overseeing six-person healthcare application team. Balancing leadership with hands-on Radiant build, configuration, optimization, and Cupid rollout support.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of six
- Manage team priorities, workload, escalations, and deliverables
- Perform hands-on Radiant build, configuration, and technical support for approximately 50% of the role
- Serve as an escalation point for complex Radiant build and workflow issues
- Support ongoing Radiant projects, optimization, testing, upgrades, and production needs
- Partner with Radiology, clinical stakeholders, IT leadership, and other application teams
- Support the broader Cupid rollout where Radiant and Cupid workflows intersect, as needed
- Ensure strong communication and coordination across the team and key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Current, active Epic Radiant certification required
- 5+ years of hands-on Epic Radiant experience
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a team
- Strong hands-on Radiant build, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization experience
- Ability to effectively balance team leadership with hands-on technical work
- Experience supporting a large, complex health system or academic medical center strongly preferred
- Must be available to work PST hours
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Current Epic Cupid certification preferred
- Hands-on Cupid experience, particularly with workflows that intersect with Radiant, preferred
- Experience supporting a large-scale or multi-hospital Cupid rollout preferred
Benefits:
- 6-month initial contract with extensions anticipated through 12/31/2027
- Minimal travel; approximately 1–2 trips per year for up to one week
