Job Description
Technischer Area Sales Manager für SCHILLERs medizinische Diagnostik- und Notfallgeräte. Betreuung und Ausbau von Kundenbeziehungen in der Ostschweiz und im Tessin.
Responsibilities:
- Personally manage existing customer accounts and acquire new customers
- Manage the sales process from the initial inquiry through quotations and tenders to closing
- Present equipment on-site and at trade shows
- Commission equipment at customer sites
- Train users and serve as their first point of contact for questions
- Identify market opportunities such as replacement purchases, new locations, and tenders
- Independently plan activities within the assigned territory
- Work closely with Product Management, Service, and Marketing
- Bring customer feedback to the team
- Keep activities and the pipeline up to date in the CRM and derive priorities from them
Requirements:
- Experience selling medical technology equipment—or a clinical or technical background (e.g., nursing, paramedicine, cardiac perfusion technology, or a degree in medical technology) combined with a clear desire to move into sales
- Strong technical understanding and enthusiasm for explaining equipment and enabling users to operate it confidently
- Business-fluent German
- Good Italian skills are a major advantage for the Ticino territory
- Residence within or near the sales territory, ideally in the St. Gallen–Winterthur–Chur area
- Willingness to travel within the territory and regularly to Obfelden
- Independent and structured working style, professional presence, and empathy when interacting with healthcare professionals
- Category B driving licence
