Job Description
Technical Consultant developing financial recommendations for sustainable agriculture transition in Brazil. Collaborating with financial institutions to support agricultural policy improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of policy proposals and financial recommendations for the agricultural transition.
- Identify opportunities within existing rural financing mechanisms.
- Develop practical policy frameworks for banks and other financial actors.
- Engage relevant stakeholders, including financial institutions and rural development specialists.
- Produce policy briefs and technical reports on the proposed financial policies and recommendations for implementation.
- Deliver a final policy package containing practical recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Economics, Public Administration, Environmental Management, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in rural financing, agricultural economics, public policy, sustainable finance, the banking sector, or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of the Brazilian rural credit system and the agricultural finance ecosystem.
- Experience developing policy recommendations, financial structures, or strategic reports.
- Excellent analytical, research, and technical writing skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
