Job Description

Technical Consultant supporting Philips patient-monitoring technology across Central/Northeast Pennsylvania. Installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing clinical monitoring systems in customer healthcare environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite and remote technical support for customer issues
  • Diagnose and resolve system, network, and application issues
  • Install, configure, integrate, and test patient monitoring and IT infrastructure solutions
  • Understand customer environments and requirements to implement and optimize systems
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges using approved tools, test equipment, and diagnostic methodologies
  • Analyze root causes and implement sustainable solutions
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting activities, and support procedures
  • Follow configuration management and version control practices
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, clinical partners, sales, and service teams
  • Build technical expertise and contribute to knowledge-sharing and service-improvement initiatives
  • Travel approximately 75% across Central/Northeast Pennsylvania, including customer and hospital/healthcare environments

Requirements:

  • 2.5+ years of professional working experience in IT services or related technical environments
  • Experience preferably in a field or hospital-based healthcare environment
  • Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators highly preferred
  • Foundational understanding of IT systems and networking concepts
  • Technical troubleshooting skills
  • Computer networking certification preferred, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent/higher-level certification
  • Associate degree in computer science, biomedical, engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and listed experience
  • Ability to travel for business, approximately 75% across the specified geography
  • Ability to drive approximately 1–4 hours daily
  • Ability to accommodate occasional overnight stays and travel by air and/or train
  • Ability to work in office/home office, remote, and hospital/healthcare environments
  • Ability to adhere to vendor credentialing requirements
  • Ability to work flexible and non-standard hours, overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
  • US work authorization required; no current or future visa sponsorship
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Central/Northeast Pennsylvania
