Job Description
Consultor Técnico Jr/Semi Sr manteniendo aplicaciones Legacy con Visual Basic, .NET y T-SQL. Analizando requerimientos y atendiendo clientes y usuarios de negocio.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and maintenance for existing applications
- Analyze functional and technical requirements
- Make enhancements and develop solutions for legacy systems
- Work with applications developed in Visual Basic 5 and .NET
- Create, modify, and maintain queries, scripts, and procedures in Transact-SQL (T-SQL)
- Analyze incidents and collaborate on their resolution
- Interact directly with clients and business users
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and explain concepts clearly
- Document changes, solutions, and incidents
- Work with the technical team to improve and maintain applications
Requirements:
- Completed or ongoing studies in Systems, Computer Science, Programming, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in development, application support, or similar technical roles
- Strong programming fundamentals and logical thinking
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with a backend programming language, such as .NET, Java, Visual Basic, or similar
- Analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivation and accountability
- Eagerness to learn
- Residence in Hispanic Latin America
- Knowledge of Visual Basic 5 / classic Visual Basic is a plus
- Experience with .NET / C# is a plus
- Knowledge of Transact-SQL (T-SQL) and SQL Server is a plus
- Experience maintaining or modernizing legacy systems is a plus
- Previous experience in support or interacting with users/clients is a plus
