Job Description
Technical Service Specialist supporting THERAKOS medical-device systems and ECP therapy customers in Germany. Providing on-site troubleshooting, installations, maintenance, monitoring and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized-level field support on THERAKOS systems.
- Provide direct on-site support and troubleshooting to Therakos customers, including urgent and non-urgent repairs and planned maintenance.
- Participate in on-site investigation of complex system issues.
- Maintain equipment used in clinical evaluations, field trials and demonstrations.
- Perform Therakos instrument installations.
- Participate in local forecasting and planning of installations and ensure successful installation completion.
- Monitor system performance.
- Build relationships with local customers through regular visits and interactions.
- Track local equipment performance and identify problems.
- Communicate service status routinely to management and functional departments.
- Escalate market information, customer feedback, complaints and product performance information to relevant departments and technical support centres.
- Ensure mandatory upgrades and modifications are completed successfully.
- Report upgrade progress to management until completion.
- Attend local, regional and global company meetings as requested.
- Respect company policies and applicable regulations.
- Liaise with Customer Service, Clinical Specialists, Sales, R&D, Quality, Marketing, Regulatory, external distributors, third-party service providers and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Strong customer focus and teamwork aptitude with well-developed interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
- Analytical and technical mind-set with demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to handle multiple activities and adapt to urgent situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to take individual initiative to prioritize and coordinate service and travel activities with team colleagues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
- Additional knowledge of another European language is a plus.
- Comfort working in an international environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in Medical Devices.
- Computer literacy.
- Aphaeresis or similar experience is a plus.
- Education level at least at Bachelor’s degree where applicable, preferably in medical technology, biomedical engineering or a related field.
