Job Description

Technical Services Specialist supporting Novus poultry nutrition customers across West and Central India. Conducting field trials, resolving technical issues, and training sales teams and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the sales team and customers in West and Central India
  • Conduct research, field trials, and customer trials
  • Respond to customer technical issues and recommend solutions
  • Cooperate with R&D to improve products, customer service, and species programs
  • Partner with sales team members and distributors in customer meetings
  • Identify additional sales opportunities and recommend products and solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations
  • Document trial outcomes and experimental results
  • Train sales team members, distributors, and customers on technical concepts
  • Prepare program materials and presentations
  • Update and generate product documentation, training materials, brochures, and journal advertisements with Marketing
  • Translate product documentation and technical papers as needed
  • Build technical relationships with universities and research institutes
  • Participate in symposiums, seminars, and other technical events
  • Coordinate with R&D on information, product ideas, trials, and research activities
  • Participate in global technical knowledge exchange and align local efforts
  • Adhere to Novus Management System, Novus Integrity System, and applicable policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition/Poultry Science with comparable training and minimum 5 years of experience related to feed formulation, farm management, and gut health management
  • Good understanding of animal nutrition and physiology
  • Experience with poultry feed formulation and farm management for broilers, layers, and breeders, including diseases
  • Ability to train customers on management and diseases
  • Understanding of gut health management, including gut health scoring, lesion scoring, post-mortem examination, identifying gut issues, and linking appropriate solutions
  • Demonstrated technical skills in conducting field trials and assessing outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including effective presentation skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in local language
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel within India and outside the country as required
  • Bachelor’s degree or better in Animal Nutrition or related field
