Job Description
Remote Travel Consultant using Amadeus to manage reservations, policies, regulations, fares, and client requests. Supporting BCD Travel’s global business-travel services and customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Search and confirm travel reservations for customers
- Understand client travel policies and provide consistent consultation
- Fulfill requests regarding DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and other necessary regulations
- Provide industry information including low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
- Review operational processes and commercial relationships and suggest improvements
- Maintain, communicate, and expand knowledge of supported travel industries
Requirements:
- Travel agent experience
- Relevant skills in GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Flexibility regarding work schedules, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as determined by business needs
