Job Description

Trust Operations Analyst analyzing threats, logs, alerts, and incidents for DigiCert, a global digital-trust and cybersecurity company. Maintaining security systems and supporting incident response.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze security threats and problems
  • Manage and evaluate security alerts and detections
  • Work through tickets and resolve them according to defined SLAs
  • Participate in security incident response and incident analysis
  • Assist with configuration, management, and maintenance of security-related software and systems
  • Work effectively within a team and independently on assigned work
  • Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and audit framework updates
  • Evaluate new tools to improve operational process efficiency
  • Participate in ongoing training and knowledge transfer
  • Provide metrics and statistics to management
  • Assess current practices and provide feedback on improvement opportunities
  • Understand policies and standards and convey requirements to end users
  • Set clear expectations and provide timely follow-up
  • Provide audit support for Compliance
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Support incident response as necessary and collaborate with other groups

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or related technical discipline
  • Advanced level of knowledge of Information Security design concepts and principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer Service background and good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform in-depth log analysis
  • Ability to work incidents and experience responding to security incidents in the past
  • Ability to analyze logs and understand affected systems
  • Willingness and ability to obtain CISSP certification if not already completed
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in a technical discipline
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Information Security
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with SIEM technologies, preferably Splunk
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud-based identity providers, SSO, and SAML
  • Preferred: Experience with zScaler products
  • Preferred: Experience with Web Application Firewall and DDoS protection
  • Preferred: Experience with web application security technologies
  • Preferred: Experience with vulnerability management software, preferably Tenable
  • Preferred: Experience with endpoint detection and response software, with CrowdStrike preferred
  • Preferred: Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, PHP, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Preferred: Experience with Help Desk
  • Preferred: Knowledge of penetration testing practices and principles
  • Preferred: Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP)
