Job Description

UAM/Marketing Manager responsible for performance marketing in Japan at MCR Media Group. Overseeing Yahoo Japan Ads and LINE Ads campaign strategies and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Launch, optimize, and scale campaigns on Yahoo Ads and LINE Ads
  • Develop creative strategy tailored to the Japanese audience (messaging, visuals, tone of voice)
  • Manage and scale advertising budgets while maintaining profitability targets
  • Own campaign performance and growth metrics (Spend volume, CPA / CAC, Conversion rates, Funnel efficiency)
  • Test creatives, landing pages, and audiences with cultural context in mind
  • Analyze performance and identify new growth opportunities

Requirements:

  • Born in Japan and native-level Japanese proficiency is mandatory
  • Deep understanding of Japanese internet culture, consumer behavior, local advertising trends and communication nuances and expectations
  • Hands-on experience with Yahoo Japan Ads and LINE Ads, with at least $30,000 monthly in spend on these platforms
  • English: B1 or higher
  • Proven experience promoting B2C products, Digital products / online services / apps / subscriptions.
