Job Description
UI/UX Designer designing and shipping consumer ecommerce experiences for NETGEAR networking products. Extending atomic design systems and translating analytics into web interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Design and ship UI across the consumer side of netgear.com, from wireframe through developer-ready handoff
- Design campaign and product landing pages, category and listing pages, product detail pages, media and content pages, and product finder interfaces
- Build with and extend the atomic web design system while maintaining consistency
- Maintain Figma libraries, including components, variants, and tokens
- Collaborate with front-end teams on feasibility, implementation handoff, and staging reviews
- Use website analytics and consumer insights research to inform design decisions
- Design new web components and recommend page improvements
- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer on campaign and site consistency
- Coordinate with the Sr. Integrated Marketing Manager on global campaign alignment
- Use AI tools where they improve workflow efficiency
- Provide occasional advisory design direction to teams maintaining their own pages
- Collaborate with the app team to maintain visual consistency across web and app
Requirements:
- 4+ years designing digital products or marketing interfaces
- Deep Figma skills, including libraries, components, variants, auto layout, and tokens
- Genuine interest in AI and experience testing new AI tools, particularly AI capabilities in Figma
- Portfolio of shipped web work showing design reasoning
- Current knowledge of UI patterns and conventions
- Ability to ground design decisions in research and analytics
- Ability to present and defend your own work to stakeholders
- Working understanding of front-end implementation
- Ability to design system components that a back-end team can develop
- Clear communication with engineers, product, and non-design stakeholders
- Required portfolio piece built against a design system, explaining system limitations and solutions
- Legally authorized to work in the country of application
