Job Description
UX Engineer focusing on design from research to front-end development for healthcare compliance tools. Collaborating with product managers and engineers to create intuitive applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and redesign of full application experiences across CE Broker
- Conduct and synthesize user research to understand needs and pain points
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile
- Build production-quality front-end code for designs using React and Tailwind CSS
- Use Claude Design to efficiently move from design to working code
- Own and extend the design system including components and documentation
- Lead design-engineering discussions on interaction patterns and architecture
- Ensure ADA compliance and best practices across deliverables
- Stay current on UX and AI tooling trends and adopt what is beneficial.
Requirements:
- 4 to 7 years of experience as a UX/product designer
- Strong portfolio of shipped products
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, Figma is a plus
- Front-end development skills using React and Tailwind CSS
- Fluency with AI-assisted design and coding tools, including Claude Design
- Experience building and maintaining design systems
- Strong grasp of user-centered design and product thinking
- Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
