Job Description
UX/UI Designer creating accessible web and mobile experiences for Trissential’s enterprise clients. Owning discovery-to-delivery design work across product teams using Figma and design systems.
Responsibilities:
- Create user flows, journey maps, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Design and refine responsive web and mobile experiences using Figma and the established design system
- Translate business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints into effective design solutions
- Produce developer-ready specifications, interaction details, annotations, and supporting documentation
- Support multiple concurrent product teams and manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Researchers, Content Specialists, and stakeholders
- Maintain and evolve design system components, patterns, and documentation
- Conduct competitive analysis and heuristic evaluations
- Participate in usability testing and integrate feedback into iterative design work
- Present design concepts, recommendations, and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders
- Respond to accessibility feedback and align designs with WCAG best practices
- Maintain organized documentation in Figma and Confluence
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience designing digital products within a product-focused organization or agency environment
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, prototyping, and developer handoff specifications
- Strong end-to-end UX/UI design experience across responsive web and mobile platforms
- Expertise creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and polished visual designs
- Experience working within and contributing to established design systems
- Understanding of accessibility fundamentals and WCAG compliance principles
- Experience collaborating within Agile product delivery teams
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX problem-solving and UI design craftsmanship
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining high-quality deliverables
- Excellent written communication skills across Teams, Confluence, and design collaboration tools
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to present and defend design recommendations
- Self-directed mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity and proactively move work forward
- Experience in utility, energy, financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries is a bonus
- Experience contributing reusable components to a shared design system is a bonus
- Familiarity with usability testing methodologies and UX researchers is a bonus
- Experience designing responsive web applications and native mobile experiences is a bonus
- Exposure to enterprise-scale customer-facing digital platforms is a bonus
- Experience supporting accessibility-focused design initiatives beyond basic compliance is a bonus
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Digital Design, Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
- Equivalent practical experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered
- No specific certifications are required
- Must currently be authorized to work in the United States
