Job Description

Vice President of Marketing advancing E3n’s independent-school education services and member growth. Leading brand integration, lifecycle marketing, product positioning, sales enablement, and marketing operations remotely across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute a unified market strategy, value proposition, positioning, priorities, success metrics, investments, and operating rhythms
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product, Member Experience, and other teams
  • Represent E3n with school leaders, members, partners, sector influencers, and Board-level audiences
  • Implement post-merger brand integration, including brand voice, messaging, visual identity, tone, and rebranding of core assets
  • Develop audience-specific messaging and elevate E3n’s thought leadership and market visibility
  • Create member segmentation and multi-channel lifecycle strategies to increase engagement, retention, product adoption, and expansion
  • Develop marketing plans for Professional Learning and communications for product releases
  • Improve onboarding, adoption, renewal readiness, and long-term member value
  • Provide Sales with messaging, competitive differentiation, competitor profiles, campaign assets, and sales enablement materials
  • Translate revenue priorities into campaign briefs, audience strategies, content plans, calls to action, and channel recommendations
  • Establish reporting on campaign performance, lead quality, engagement, and marketing contribution
  • Implement voice-of-the-customer processes informing messaging, product positioning, launches, and customer-facing content
  • Refine product and service positioning and develop competitor messaging frameworks
  • Support adoption and scale of new products, including Wild Zebra and blended admissions assessment offerings
  • Promote partnerships including Committee for Children, Wild Zebra, and Test Innovators
  • Develop marketing tools, processes, dashboards, KPIs, reporting routines, and action plans
  • Manage, coach, and develop the marketing team, including five FTEs and a marketing communications resource
  • Manage the marketing budget, financial controls, vendors, and expenses

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 15+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant leadership responsibility for functions, teams, or major organizational initiatives
  • Progressive marketing leadership experience across marketing communications, product marketing, lifecycle/customer or member marketing, growth marketing, campaign strategy, and marketing operations
  • Ability to build and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing plans across email, social, web, events, webinars, member portals, print assets, direct mail, and partner channels
  • Record of supporting Sales with enablement tools resulting in member acquisition, retention, product expansion, and top-line growth
  • Fluency in B2B and B2C marketing strategies, including segmentation, buyer personas, market research, customer journeys, and audience-specific messaging
  • Experience using CRM, marketing automation, campaign analytics, and performance reporting tools
  • Experience managing people, budgets, vendors, timelines, and cross-functional work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Experience in EdTech, education services, assessment, and enrollment preferred
  • Knowledge of the private and independent school landscape preferred
  • Experience in membership-based organizations preferred
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, or comparable marketing technology tools preferred
  • Experience marketing conferences, annual meetings, webinars, sponsored events, partner campaigns, or professional learning offerings preferred
