Job Description
Part-time Videographer creating and editing platform-native social content for VaynerMedia, a global creative and media agency. Shooting, editing, and mentoring creators across APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Create content that makes impactful connections with consumers, measured by high attention metrics such as likes, comments, shares, views, and retention.
- Shoot and edit compelling, platform-native content across social channels.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished final videos optimized for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, video formats, platform updates, and editing techniques.
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional departments on rapid-fire requests and tight timelines.
- Attend creative brainstorms, kickoffs, and team meetings, contributing ideas and supporting performance-driven strategy.
- Mentor Creators and Creator Residents, and in some cases Art Directors and Copywriters, across the agency.
- Help guide best practices in ideation and execution under the leadership of the A/CD.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional creative experience, with a demonstrable passion for creating content across a spectrum of platforms — social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
- Proven experience as a video shooter/editor, preferably within advertising, digital media, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of video production fundamentals, including lighting, framing, and audio capture.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Strong end-to-end content creation capabilities — from concepting and shooting to editing and final delivery — with a passion for video and motion design.
- Responsible, accountable, and a self-starter who demonstrates initiative.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive positive results.
- Portfolio demonstrating creative work is requested.
