Job Description
Latin American Spanish voice actor recording expressive speech for Mercor’s AI research partners. Producing consistent, high-quality samples for an internal CX AI Agent and voice-cloning system.
Responsibilities:
- Record high-quality voice samples across diverse scripts, including conversational, narrative, and instructional content
- Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech with control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation
- Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery across recording sessions
- Follow detailed recording guidelines covering environment, microphone setup, and file formatting
- Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style when required
- Provide recordings used exclusively for the client's internal CX AI Agent
- Participate in projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Native Latin American Spanish speaker currently based in Latin America
- Ability to speak neutral, internationally intelligible Spanish without a strong regional accent
- Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter
- Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range
- Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining natural delivery
- Reliable availability for 5–10 hours per week over the project duration
- Must be comfortable with voice cloning for the client's CX AI Agent
- Preferred: Experience recording for TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets
- Preferred: Familiarity with Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper
- Preferred: Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles
- Must not require H1-B or STEM OPT support
