Job Description
VP of Engineering at Adelaide, overseeing engineering function and driving technical strategy. Lead team in a remote-first culture focused on scalable media measurement solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Adelaide's engineering function, setting technical direction
- Own the engineering strategy and day-to-day delivery
- Partner closely with Product, Data Science, and executive teams
- Manage and mentor engineering managers
- Ensure systems meet the reliability and quality standards
- Drive prioritization tradeoffs across engineering teams
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience
- Proven ability to take initiatives from architecture through to production
- Experience architecting and operating scalable systems, services, and data infrastructure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of recruiting and retaining senior engineering talent
- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters or PhD preferred.
