Job Description
SavATree VP leading nationwide field-service operations, specialty service-line performance, and enterprise transformation. Driving P&L growth, Lean standardization, safety, customer experience, and sustained adoption across markets.
Responsibilities:
- Own the enterprise operating model and operational standards across field operations and specialty service lines
- Support P&Ls, revenue growth, margin targets, expansion, budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plans
- Lead operational performance improvements involving workforce planning, capacity modeling, crew design, routing, scheduling, labor productivity, technician utilization, and service economics
- Build and execute service-line growth, training, product, and market strategies
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Data & Analytics, IT, HR, and Marketing
- Lead high-impact cross-functional transformation initiatives from strategy through sustained adoption
- Own business standard work, Lean practices, Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, and operating reviews
- Establish governance, reporting, KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, ROI metrics, and post-implementation reviews
- Build and embed continuous-improvement culture and standardized best practices across branches, districts, regions, and markets
- Develop and enforce SOPs and scalable best practices for scheduling, routing, job completion, and service delivery
- Lead shared-services, specialization/centralization, cost-reduction, and new-market-expansion initiatives
- Maintain approved treatment materials and protocols, define quality standards and audit mechanisms, and serve as senior technical authority on escalated diagnostics and damage events
- Partner with IT on routing, scheduling, forecasting, mobile execution tools, AI-enabled workforce optimization, and operational analytics
- Lead change management through rollouts, communications, training, and resolution of resistance
- Ensure safety, regulatory, pesticide-application, quality, customer satisfaction, and retention standards
- Report to the Chief Operating Officer
Requirements:
- 10–15+ years in operations, project/program management, consulting, or continuous improvement
- Experience with multi-location or field-based leadership
- Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
- Experience managing or scaling operations or service lines with P&L impact
- Strong operational and financial acumen
- Ability to influence senior leadership and drive execution in a decentralized organization
- Field-services background in arboriculture, landscape, seasonal décor, or other distributed field services
- Relevant certifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Preferred: direct-to-consumer, route-based service business experience
- Preferred: private equity-backed or high-growth environment experience
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies preferred
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Ability to travel 50%+
