The NMFTA publishes the National Motor Freight Classification® (NMFC®), assigns Standard Carrier Alpha Codes™ (SCAC®), assigns Standard Point Location Codes® (SPLC™), develops digital standards for the LTL industry, and safeguards those digital standards through cybersecurity research, dissemination of studies, and education.
